Republic of Ireland: Shipping paused

As of 2nd February 2022, we have been forced to stop shipping to the Republic of Ireland.

This is due to several parcels being returned by Irish Customs recently, with no explanation as to why.

We have been shipping all over the world for a number of years and do not have such issues with Customs in any other country.

We are working on ways to address this and hope to be able to provide a further update shortly.

In the meantime – if you have placed an order with us recently with delivery to Ireland and have not yet received your parcel, please drop us an email along with your order number so that we can investigate.

Otherwise – any orders being returned to us by Irish customs will be fully-refunded (including shipping) once we receive them back. Unfortunately until returns land back at our door we are not made aware of any issue with the shipment.

Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause to our Irish customers. We assure you this is as frustrating for us as it is for you, and we’re doing all we can to find out why they are not allowing your shipments into your country.

  • As of Friday 11th February, we can confirm that ALL Pre-orders have now been despatched via your chosen shipping method.
  • If you believe there is an issue with your existing Pre-order please read the below information thoroughly before reaching out to us.
  • The Pre-ordering system was removed from our website as of midnight on Thursday 10th Feb.
  • Pre-order discount codes expired at midnight on Thursday 10th Feb.
  • All products are (at time of writing) in stock and ready for immediate despatch.
  • Over the weekend (12th-13th Feb) we will work hard to increase stock levels ready for the weeks ahead.

Bottled Oil: Stock Update & Pre-Orders

As many of you will be aware we’ve faced problems with packaging supplies recently.
This resulted in some of our bottled oils being made available on Pre-order only since the start of the year.

In more recent weeks we’ve been forced to place all sizes and strengths of our bottled oil on Pre-order only.

This was partly due to an unexpected surge in sales, but also due to a logistics problem over our supply of glass bottles, meaning we were unable to keep up with demand.

The good news is that during this time we’ve also been busy behind the scenes preparing three freshly-pressed batches of oil ready for the year ahead, and we promise it will have been worth the wait!

Whether you’ve already placed a Pre-order with us, or if you’re considering placing a new Pre-order, please read the below information carefully as it contains important information on availability and despatch dates which will vary based on when your order was/is placed. This information will update frequently until the Pre-ordering system is removed.


Ordered Before Midnight on 1st Feb?

A little later than previously advised, but our glass bottles finally arrived on Weds 2nd Feb (happy dance!), and we began filling bottles immediately, ready for despatch.

With several thousand orders to fulfil, we advised that we’d need you to bear with us for just a little longer whilst we processed your orders.

Initially our focus was on bottling enough oil to fulfil Pre-orders placed prior to midnight on 1st February.

Well-aware that many of you had been waiting a while, we worked around the clock to ensure those orders were fulfilled as soon as possible, whilst at the same time advising that realistically, it may take us a couple of days to clear the backlog, and that to keep things fair we’d be preparing orders by the date of which they were received.

We’re happy to advise that all of those orders have now all been processed.

If you have not yet received your order, or have not at least received a despatch confirmation email – please check your Junk/Spam folder as this should have been with you by Friday (4th Feb) evening latest. Failing that, please drop us an email along with your order number so that we can investigate.


Ordered After Midnight on 1st Feb?

Eager to not to provide customers with any false hopes over availability & shipping times of our bottled oil…

We placed all of our bottled oils back on Pre-order only.

Anyone who Pre-ordered bottled oil after midnight on Tuesday 1st Feb and before midnight on Friday 4th Feb should expect to have their orders despatched on or before Wednesday 9th Friday 11th February.

***Update: We managed to despatch the vast majority of these orders on or before Wednesday 9th (our original aim), but there are some that will be a day or two late going out. We are prioritising the few that remain by working around the clock to despatch ASAP***

  • If you’ve already received your order, great!
  • If you’ve received an order despatch confirmation email from us but not yet received your order, rest assured it’s on its way to you via the shipping service that you selected at checkout.
  • Anyone that has not yet received an order despatch confirmation email – this will be with you as soon as your order is shipped. This should be with you by Wednesday 9th no later than Friday 11th Feb. Please note that these emails can arrive right up until midnight on the day of despatch. If you have not received a despatch confirmation email from us by Thursday 10th Friday 11th Feb, please check your Junk/Spam folder. Failing that, please drop us an email along with your order number so that we can investigate.

Ordered After Midnight on 4th Feb?

We seem to have under-estimated the sheer demand for our bottled oil since the start of the year, and coupled with the Pre-order backlog that we’re still trying to clear…

We’ve again had to place all of our bottled oils back on Pre-order only.

As with our previous rounds of Pre-ordering – until we get back on top of stock levels we remain reluctant to give customers false hopes over availability & shipping times of bottled oil. And so with this in mind…

Anyone Pre-ordering bottled oil after midnight on Friday 4th Feb and before midnight on Friday 11th Thursday 10th Feb should expect to have their orders despatched on or before Monday 14th Friday 11th February.

  • Anyone that has not yet received an order despatch confirmation email – this will be with you as soon as your order is shipped. This will be with you by Monday 14th Friday 11th February. Please note that these emails can arrive right up until midnight on the day of despatch. If you have not received a despatch confirmation email from us by Monday 14th Friday 11th February, please check your Junk/Spam folder. Failing that, please drop us an email along with your order number so that we can investigate.

We’ve already moved this availability date forward and if we can bring it forward further, we will. With lessons learnt in previous rounds of Pre-ordering, we’re trying not to give any further false hopes over despatch dates.

We appreciate this is not ideal – it’s also rather frustrating for us as it means we’re unable to offer the same level of service (same-day despatch) that we have for so many years.

Due to problems beyond our control however we’re doing the best we can in what can only be described as difficult circumstances.

As a thank you for your continued patience we’ve once again extended the discounts on bottled oil Pre-orders (discount codes can be found below).

Alternatively, our Black Seed Oil Capsules are in stock, ready for immediate despatch, and we have extended the Buy 2 Get 1 FREE Discount Code until midnight on Thursday 10th Feb.


Important Changes to the Pre-Ordering Process

With a clear timeline of product availability now confirmed (below), we’ve made some changes to the Pre-ordering process.

Previously, Pre-orders of bottled oil could only be ordered separately – which we know caused much frustration for customers during Checkout.

As of Monday 7th Feb this is no longer required.

You can now place mixed orders of Bottled Oil (Pre-order) and in stock products together in a single order.
However, please note that if your order does contain Pre-order products (bottled oil), your order will be subject to the Pre-order despatch times outlined above.

If you require non Pre-order products to be despatched sooner, you must place a separate order for those products so that they can be despatched separately.


Normal Service Resumed?

We’re pleased to announce that the Pre-ordering system was fully-removed from our website at midnight on Thursday 10th February.

All strengths & sizes of our bottled oil are now re-stocked and available for immediate despatch from Friday onwards, with next working day delivery options available at Checkout.

We’d like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience that our logistics issues & stock shortages may have caused for our customers over the last few weeks.

Being the most challenging period since our company’s formation many years ago, it’s been a learning experience for us too.

Everything seemed to happen very quickly and such only a small workforce, rolling out a Pre-ordering system quickly, trying to keep customers updated, together with dealing with logistics, the preparation of three new batches of oil, bottling of that oil, and trying to keep up with customer support requests – has been very challenging for us to say the least.

We make no excuse however. Some mistakes were made on our part when it came to the issuing of product availability and/or accurate despatch dates to some customers, and we have to hold our hands up to that.

We know that many of you rely on our products as part of your everyday diet and we must stress that we are (and have been) doing everything in our power to ensure all products are back in stock and ready to ship as soon as humanly-possible.

From the bottom of our hearts – thank you all so much for the patience, love, and the immense support that you have shown us over these last few difficult weeks. It’s been greatly appreciated.

And to those of whom we let down further by providing you with incorrect information over availability/despatch dates, we apologise profusely.

In the next week or two once we’re fully back on track, we will look at ways of which we can ‘give back’ to our customers as our way of saying thanks for your support. So keep your eyes peeled for some red hot deals coming your way real soon.

Important: October Stock Update

Firstly, you may have already seen an update posted on our Facebook or Instagram this afternoon, but for those of you who aren’t aware…

With the recent announcement of us moving over to VEGETARIAN Black Seed Oil Capsules, we’ve seen a huge surge in sales.

We’re unsure if this is due to the forthcoming price changes on *some Capsule Refill Packs & quantity variations* which comes in to effect from Monday 11th October, or if it’s simply due to so many Vegetarians (& Vegans) being eager to try our oil without having to experience the taste.

Perhaps a mixture of both.
Either way we’re extremely grateful for your custom (as always).

Whilst we did foresee an increase in sales, truth is, the surge in sales that we’re experiencing are WAY BEYOND anything that we could have anticipated, and we’re struggling to keep up with demand.

We must stress that
THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF CAPSULES

​We have just shy of 1 MILLION of each strength!

But with stock moving so fast at present we’re finding it difficult to have them retail-packed quickly enough.

We do have a very limited quantity of Capsules ready to ship, but we expect those to be gone by the end of today/ possibly tomorrow afternoon.
At which point we will be unable to fulfil any further Capsule orders until our new stock arrives on Tuesday 12th (or perhaps Monday, if we are lucky).

Rest assured, any orders placed up until 5pm today have been fulfilled without issue. If you’ve not yet received your despatch confirmation email, this will be with you early evening as normal.

Any new orders placed now through Monday next week however *may* experience a slight delay since any new orders will be fulfilled subject to stock availability.
As soon as stock arrives, any outstanding orders will be despatched immediately.

Shipping Updates: 01/04/21-05/04/21

Important note regarding the upcoming public UK / Easter holidays on Friday 2nd and Monday 5th April:

  • We are unable to despatch orders on these days due to Royal Mail closures.
  • Any orders placed up until 6pm on Thursday 1st April will be despatched same-day.
  • Any orders placed Friday 1st April through Monday 5th April will be despatched on the next working day (Tuesday 6th April).
  • Any orders despatched Thursday 1st April via our free shipping service (Royal Mail 1st Class) will likely arrive after the public holiday weekend. From past experience, some orders may take 1-4 days longer to arrive than usual.
  • If you require your order sooner please select Royal Mail Tracked24 at checkout. This is a 1 working day fully-tracked service and costs just £2.95/order (subsidised price for our customers). Alternatively this service is provided free of charge for all orders over £25.
  • Orders despatched up until 6pm on Thursday 1st April and shipped via Tracked24, are expected to arrive on Saturday 3rd April, although a very small percentage may not arrive until Tuesday 2nd April.
  • Need your order before Friday 2nd April? Your order must be placed before 6pm on Wednesday 31st March and you must select Royal Mail Tracked24 at checkout.
