WHAT HAPPENS IF I START ON THE STRONGEST?
Starting on too high a dose or strength can cause toxins to be rid from the body too quickly — which can trigger an immune response. In the event of this, the body will reject the oil via whichever means necessary.
Starting on a lower dose & strength will help to slowly introduce Black Seed Oil to your diet, so that it can gradually begin to help support your immune system.

Why is this?
Starting on too high a dosage or too high a strength can result in toxins being rid from the body far too quickly. Not always the case, but this can trigger an immune response, resulting in the body rejecting the oil through whichever means necessary (vomiting being most common). Starting on a low dose & strength of oil will help to slowly rid toxins at an undetectable rate, and then begin to support your immune system.

Nigella Sativa Seeds – mostly used in cooking as a flavouring/spice, whilst of course adding a useful health kick. Nigella seeds are more commonly used in Naan’s and flatbreads, though they can in fact be added to any dish.

Nigella Powder (Ground Nigella Seeds) is great in curries, since it adds a distinctive yet authentic taste, whilst at the same time helping to thicken up sauces/gravy.
Black Seed Oil – Nigella Sativa seeds are cold pressed to extract the oil. Nothing is added to our oil, and our seeds are only pressed once; ensuring a true virgin quality Black Seed Oil that is unrivalled in both quality and taste.
For Health; this is the most effective way to consume the Black Seed since it is far more concentrated, opposed to taking the seeds themselves.

Our Black Seed Oil Capsules are very popular, since taking the oil neat from the bottle is a rather acquired taste (most newcomers will likely agree that the taste does take some getting used to). When first starting out, the belching/ aftertaste can be a little too much for some people to tolerate.

ARE THERE ANY WARNINGS OR SIDE-EFFECTS TO BE WEARY OF?
Please note that we are not medical practitioners and therefore you should always consult your GP if you are unsure. With the studies & research carried out to date, Black Seed Oil (in its natural form at least) comes with very few known side-effects & warnings. TOPICAL APPLICATION OF BLACK SEED OIL FOR SKIN CONDITIONS SUCH AS ECZEMA OR OTHER SKIN COMPLAINTS
Typically speaking we recommend using our Original Oil for topical application; particularly if the skin is already badly damaged. Whilst many customers do use the stronger oils topically without issue, those stronger oils can in some cases cause further irritation. General feedback on our Original oil for topical application is very positive, especially for Psoriasis and Eczema.
BLACK SEED OIL FOR HAIR?
We have many salons who use (and stock) our oils and we consistently receive high praise, particularly for our Super-Strength Oil. Most salons seem to recommend substituting your everyday hair conditioner for a spoonful of our Super-Strength Oil on every second or third wash. Or alternatively, mix 50ml of Oil in with roughly 450ml of your usual hair conditioner. For best results, gently massage into the hair & scalp and leave for a minimum of 5 minutes before rinsing.

**For transparency, the VOC of our oils is subject to a +/-0.8% tolerance due to being a 100% natural unfiltered oil.
