As most will be aware, we’ve been facing manufacturing delays with our Black Seed oil Capsules, which has resulted in us being out of stock for several weeks. (Further info on what happened has been made available further down this page, for those interested)
CAPSULE RESTOCK – LIMITED AVAILABILITY
ORDER FROM 10AM ON SATURDAY 24TH MAY — BUT BE QUICK!
A very limited quantity of our Super-Strength Capsule Refill Packs will be made available to purchase from 10am on Saturday 24th May. They will sell out very fast, so we advise being ready to purchase as soon as they go live on our website. When they’re gone, the next restock is likely to be in July.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- In our best efforts to give regular customers the heads-up, we’ll be sending out an email today (Thurs 22nd May), and then another sometime on Friday evening.
- At 10am on Sat 24th May we’ll make the stock available to purchase from our website, and at the same time send out a final email reminder. Beyond this we can do no more – so regular customers that have been eagerly waiting, please be ready.
- Capsules will be available to purchase on a first come first served basis.
- Purchases will be limited to a maximum of 3 packs per customer*.
- We’re unsure how quickly we will sell out – it could be minutes or days. But they WILL sell out!
- You’ll only receive email reminders from us if you’re on our mailing list. You can subscribe below, if you haven’t already.
- Capsules are temporarily being excluded from all discount codes & promotional offers, including Multi-buy*.
- We would urge you to only purchase the quantity that you need, up to a maximum of 3 packs.
- Anyone found to be abusing the systems that we have put in place to order in excess of 3 packs, will have all of their orders cancelled & refunded without prior notice.
- Orders placed after 5pm on Friday 23rd May will be despatched once we reopen on Wednesday 28th May**
- As ever, all UK orders ship FREE – and orders over £25 will ship via a next working day service**.

Whilst not to everyone’s taste, we’ve had lots of messages recently about how many of you have converted to using our Bottled oil instead, since Capsules were unavailable! What we would say is, if you can use the bottled oil instead – we highly encourage it. You’ll also find it to be much more cost-effective than the Capsules — particularly with our latest offer.
*This is to discourage bulk and/ or panic buying. Additionally, the cost of this short batch of capsules has also cost us almost twice as much as usual, so we are already making a substantial loss on these sales (more info below as to why). Just incase any have escaped us — anyone found to be using a discount code against the purchase of Capsules, will have their order cancelled.
**Monday 26th is a bank holiday and there will be no despatch on Tuesday 27th, since we are closed to ensure we finish packaging the Capsules ready for despatch on Wednesday 28th. From Weds 28th onwards it’s same-day despatch as usual. Kindly note, if you opt for a Next Day or Guaranteed Next Day shipping service, this is from the date of despatch, not from the date of ordering.

We do still have a limited quantity of these in stock and they will be made available again from 10am on Saturday 24th May. When they sell out, it’s likely to be July before they become available again.

Realistically it’s likely to be July before these are made available again.

WHAT IS THE ISSUE & WHY IS THERE A LACK OF STOCK?
The manufacture of Vegan Capsules is a complex process and there are very few manufacturers offering this service.
Once our seeds arrive in the UK and we’ve extracted the oil from them, we then have to send our oil off to a specialist Capsule manufacturer for encapsulation.
The encapsulation process usually takes 6-14 weeks and then another 7-10 days to package the Capsules ready for sale.
Unfortunately on this occasion there was a manufacturing error which has led to all of our latest batches of capsules having to be destroyed and us having to start over again. Something that has never happened before and hopefully will never happen again.
Obviously this, for us as a business, is absolutely devastating. We understand that this has also left customers on the lurch.
Whilst it is extremely rare for something like this to happen, unfortunately it is beyond our control and we are doing all we can to get back on track ASAP.
EXPECTED TIMELINE & CONTINGENCY PLAN
Our seeds arrived in the UK two weeks ago, and oil extraction is already in full-swing. We will shortly be sending our oil off for encapsulation and we’re pushing to have our Capsules back and ready for sale in the shortest possible time.
In terms of contingency – given the sheer lack of Vegan capsule manufacturers – particularly here in the UK – this is a difficult one…
However, a European manufacturer has agreed to create a small batch of Super-Strength Capsules for us which will at least help to make some available in the meantime. Manufacturing is already underway and we should have a limited number of Super-Strength Refill Packs available to purchase from 23rd May.
Why aren’t we using the European manufacturer for all, you may ask…
Costs, mostly. Using the European manufacturer adds on near 75% to overall costs, which we would then need to pass on to our customers. All-in, we’d essentially need to double our retail prices to offset the additional costs. We don’t want to do this and we’re sure you don’t want to paying twice as much…
It also would not shave a great deal of time from the manufacturing process, and so it’s simply not worth further consideration.

Let’s be clear — we do not go out of our way to make 50% of our product range unavailable. It’s a situation that is rare, beyond our control, has a huge impact on us as a business, and we assure you that we are doing everything in our power to get back on track.
